FT. PAYNE, AL (WAFF) -
A Fort Payne man is behind bars accused of multiple drug
crimes.
Officials said deputies went to serve five warrants on
Sheldon Williams, 36.
When deputies made contact with Williams, they said he had a
controlled substance, marijuana and drug paraphernalia on him.
Williams was arrested and charged with possession of a
controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless endangerment,
manufacture of a controlled substance and attempting to elude.
"Our deputies and Drug Task
Force agents have dealt with this individual several times recently. These
additional charges should keep him in jail for some time," said Sheriff Jimmy
Harris.
