Have you thought this season about opening up your heart and home to a sweet animal in need of one?
This year, we introduce you to "The 12 Strays of Christmas."
WAFF 48 News is partnering with Decatur Animal Shelter to share with you 12 animals in need of homes this holiday season. We will introduce you to a new pet each day through December 22.
Meet DeeDee
DeeDee is a 4 month old solid black short-hair girl, with big yellow eyes that seem to see forever. This playful affectionate kitty is just one of many stray and unwanted litters this year. Because of the mild winter and early spring, many cats had 4 litters this year, and so there will be kittens for this Christmas in a wide variety of ages and sizes, coat colors and hair lengths. Come get one (or even better, two!)

Dogs are heartworm tested, on preventative; cats are Feline Leukemia/AIDS negative; all are vaccinated, wormed and spayed/neutered. Dogs are $110.00, cats are 95.00, and bunnies are $85! See adoption specials! Check out cats and kittens at Decatur Petco during their regular retail hours.
