Ninety-six of those were robberies, guns were also found at the scene of more than two dozen menacing and assault cases, 17 times in cases of domestic violence, eight concealed weapon violations, and four murders.

Overnight, Huntsville Police responded to a shooting at the Chevron gas station off Pulaski Pike and Mastin Lake. One man was shot in the stomach. Police have not caught the shooter.

Also overnight, a man was thrown out of Benchwarmers bar off University Drive in Huntsville.

According to a police report, the man came back and shot at the person that threw him out. Nobody was hit and that shooter is still at large too, but he will face attempted murder charges when caught.

Finally, two men were shot at a Huntsville apartment complex off Martin Road on Wednesday afternoon. There injuries are unknown at this time.

Police said these numbers sound high, but they are actually on par with numbers in years past.
