ATHENS, AL (WAFF) -
A Limestone County judge set bond at $75,000 for Robert Allen Muse. Muse is charged with criminal mischief in connection to vandalism at a historic Tanner cemetery.
Investigators say Muse targeted the Hatchett Cemetery three times, breaking headstones and trashing the grounds.
The arrest came after the Limestone County Sheriff installed security cameras at the cemetery. A deputy saw a picture of the vandal and recognized Muse from a traffic stop near the cemetery.
Muse appeared in court Tuesday. During that hearing he was assigned an attorney. Several members of the Little Ezekiel Baptist Church attended that hearing.
During Wednesday's bond hearing the judge lowered bond from $150,000 to $75,000. Muse must also adhere to a curfew, surrender his motorcycle to his parents, and stay out of Limestone County unless he has a hearing or meeting with his attorney.
