GADSDEN, AL (WAFF) -
Gadsden Police arrested a man wanted for attempted murder.
According to investigators, on December 14, two men were loading
furniture inside a U-Haul when two people showed up and started shooting.
The victims ran in opposite directions. The suspects,
Marquis Cotton, 24, and Arthur McAbee, 25, chased after one of the victims and shot
him.
Both victims sustained injuries and were treated at Gadsden Regional.
Cotton was located later at a home on Grant Avenue. He was
charged with two counts of attempted murder.
McAbee is still at large.
