HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police said one person was shot at the Chevron gas station at the intersection of Pulaski Pike and Mastin Lake around 10 p.m. Tuesday night.
Police said an officer in the area heard gunshots and pulled into the gas station.
The officer saw a man dressed in all black run off and found the shooting victim, Howard Burke, behind a car wash, shot in the stomach. HEMSI took Burke to the hospital, where he was treated and released.
Police called in a canine unit to help search for the shooter, but the dogs did not find anyone.
Officers questioned witnesses at the station, but no arrests have been made.
