ATHENS, AL (WAFF) -

Church members from Little Ezekiel Baptist Church attended Tuesday's hearing for the man accused of vandalizing a Tanner cemetery several times.

Robert Allen Muse is charged with three counts of criminal mischief.

Investigators say he targeted the Hatchett Cemetery three times, breaking headstones and trashing the grounds.

The Limestone County Sheriff had security cameras installed at the cemetery. The third time the cemetery was hit, the cameras got a picture of the vandal.

A Sheriff's Deputy recognized Muse after stopping him near the cemetery around the time of the vandalism.

During Tuesday's hearing Muse was appointed an attorney.

Muse will appear in court again Wednesday for a bond hearing.
