ELKMONT, AL (WAFF) -
The power remained out Tuesday morning for hundreds of people in Elkmont.
Athens Utilities says a deadly crash Monday night knocked out power to 700 residents.
Police say Daniel Reeves, 33, of Elkmont, died when he crashed into a utility pole on Highway 127, about one mile north of Elkmont. Officers say Reeves was the only person in the car.
State troopers say alcohol was not a factor.
Meanwhile, there's no word on when power will be restored.
