HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A Madison student, who for Christmas wants to help the homeless, has collected over 100 sleeping bags.
Mitchell Dashoff, 9 years old, came up with the idea after visiting the Manna House with his mother, so he solicited his school and his parents to help.
In just a few short weeks, Mitchell has collected over 100 sleeping bags to help keep the homeless warm this winter.
Mitchell plans to deliver the sleeping bags to Manna House Friday afternoon.
