HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Hospital's Child Care Center has been placed on lockdown.
The hospital said an employee with a child in the Child Care Center was threatened by an out-of-state family member.
The hospital notified Huntsville Police and other out-of-state authorities where the person who made the threat lives.
The Child Care Center was locked down, and the hospital has taken additional security precautions. They have Huntsville Police officers on the scene as well.
The children's parents are being notified.
This is the second hospital placed on lockdown in 24 hours in North Alabama.
