DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
Have you thought this season about opening up your heart and home to a sweet animal in need of one?
This year, we introduce you to "The 12 Strays of Christmas."
WAFF 48 News is partnering with Decatur Animal Shelter to share with you 12 animals in need of homes this holiday season. We will introduce you to a new pet each day through December 22.
Meet Ruth
Ruth's picture just does not do her justice! She is one gorgeous silver tabby, medium-haired girl who is about 2 years old and weighs just under 8 pounds. She's well-socialized and purrs readily when you scratch under her chin. But this girl's not just a pretty face; she's an excellent mouser as well! She will earn her keep and you will never get tired of looking at this beauty.
