According to reports, Alabama secondary coach Jeremy Pruitt will be named Florida State's new Defensive Coordinator. According to bamaonline.com, Pruitt will join the Seminoles staff, after three seasons as an assistant and one of Alabama's top recruiters.
If hired, Pruitt is expected to remain on Alabama's coaching staff through the BCS National Title Game January 7th. As of Sunday night, no official statement form either Alabama or Florida State on the matter.
Pruitt was an all state selection at Plainview High School and played under Gene Stallings at Alabama after spending his first two collegiate years at Middle Tennessee State.
