More than 4000 people lost power Sunday when lightning hit a
transmission line in Limestone County.
Lightning hit the line around 5 a.m. Power was lost from
French's Mill Road to Bell Mina, affecting 4367 customers.
Athens Utilities crews worked through the morning and had
power restored by 8 a.m.
