Couple robbed at gunpoint on Wimberly Rd.

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Police are looking for a man who robbed a couple at gunpoint Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened around noon in the 2900 block of Wimberly Road.

Jodi Matthews, 18, told police she and her boyfriend were supposed to meet someone to buy an X-Box.

While waiting for the acquaintance, a man with a gun approached and stole money and a cell phone.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
