Union leaders reach deal in Fayetteville strike

FAYETTEVILLE, TN (WAFF) -

The strike in Fayetteville is officially over.

Union leaders approved their contract with Goodman Manufacturing.

The strike started Sunday morning and put over a hundred people out on the picket lines.

A union spokesman said workers have given up a lot in recent negotiations, and felt they had to stand up this time.

The vote ended the strike, and employees will return to work starting Thursday night.
