HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police responded to the scene of a stabbing in the 3300 block of Patton Road.
When officers arrived, the victim had a small cut on her hand and was complaining about pain in her shoulder.
The victim claimed she was attacked by Ashley Gilbreath, with whom she had a domestic relationship.
Officers found Gilbreath with a cut on her right leg that they determined she received while the victim tried to defend herself.
Both were taken to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.
Upon release from the hospital, Gilbreath was booked in the Madison County Jail, charged with domestic violence menacing and third degree domestic violence assault.
