DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
Former legislator and public service commission member Charles Martin was laid to rest on Tuesday.
He died Saturday while in the hospital in Decatur.
Martin served six years on the Decatur city council, eight years as a state representative, four years as a state senator, and 12 years on the public service commission.
Charles Martin was 81 years old.
