HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Some crooks in Huntsville may have an eye on your cell phone.
Huntsville Police said two people were robbed of their cell phones Sunday night.
In the first one, police said a woman was walking in the area of Beard Street and Turf Avenue. They said a man came up to her, pulled out a gun, and took her phone then ran off.
A teenage driver reported a similar scare.
Huntsville Police said he was stopped at a red light at Blue Springs Road and Medaris Road when a man came up and opened his door. Police said the man stole the teenager's cell phone then took off.
Both of the cell phone robberies happened within an hour of each other.
