CHARDON, OH (WOIO) -

Accused Chardon shooter TJ Lane is back in court today.  The judge, prosecutors and defense attorney's met to tear down the potential pool of jurors.

Two days ago the teen appeared in the same courtroom for a suppression hearing.  His attorneys are fighting to get some evidence thrown out.  The judge is expected to have a decision on that argument in about a week.

Lane is charged in the February 27 shooting at Chardon High School, which he has admitted to.  17-year-old Russell King, Jr., 16-year-old Daniel Parmertor and 16-year-old Demetrius Hewlin were killed.  17-year-old Nick Walczak is paralyzed from the waist down.  18-year-old Joy Rickers and a 6th, unidentified victim were treated and released from the hospital.

Lane's attorney has entered a not guilty by reason of insanity plea on his behalf.

His trial is scheduled to begin January 14, 2013.
