HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A man is fighting for his life after being shot at a Huntsville apartment complex during a possible robbery Friday night.
Police said the victim, Marques Lashone Kelly, answered a knock at his door around 10 p.m., and was greeted by two men holding a gun.
When the victim tried to close the door, one of the men shot Kelly. He was transported to Huntsville Hospital by HEMSI with life-threatening-injuries.
No arrests have been made in the case, and police continue to investigate.
