LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Charges were upgraded to capital murder against Joel Moyers, the man accused of shooting Brandon Hydrick.
A Limestone County grand jury indicted Moyers on charges of capital murder, murder extreme indifference, and two counts of shooting into an occupied automobile.
Court documents state Moyers used a Norinco SKS 7.62 rifle.
The shooting happened in September on Fennell Road in the Tanner community.
Hydrick and his brother were returning from a bonfire.
Investigators say Moyers fired into the Hydricks' truck.
