Two arrested in unrelated drug cases

DeKalb County investigators have arrested two people on unrelated drug charges..

Thursday night, 45 year old Terry Middlebrooks of Gaylesville was arrested for drug possession after a traffic stop on County Road 107 on Lookout Mountain.

In another Thursday traffic stop, 22 year old Andrea Adair was arrested and charged with drug possession after a Collinsville Police officer saw marijuana in her vehicle. When she was booked into the country jail, a staffer found more drugs on her.

According to Sheriff Jimmy Harris, both cases are a direct results of observant law enforcement officers during  routine patrol and the Correction officers at DeKalb County Detention Center do an excellent job on combating the Jail contraband problems that we face.

"I want to thank all the officers involved in the arrest and the corrections officers for their good job they do."
