VESTAVIA HILLS, AL (WBRC) -
The Vestavia Hills Police Department says they are working a multiple death investigation on Wednesday morning. It happened in the 200 block of Montclaire Circle.
According to Lt. Brian Gilham, a man and a woman were both found dead at the scene. Neighbors reported hearing a gunshot and police responded to the scene around 9 a.m.
Police will not say the cause of death nor release the identity of the victims. They are currently attempting to contact family members.
Neighbors at the scene say a prominent Homewood businessman and his elderly mother lived at the home.
More information is expected after the coroner makes an examination.
