FORT PAYNE, AL (WAFF) -
A man from the Painter Community of DeKalb County faces multiple drug charges, including trafficking in marijuana.
DeKalb County Drug Task Force Agents arrested Marcelo Pantoja-Villanuyeva at a home on County Road 629.
Agents report finding 24 pounds of packaged marijuana, pills, .40 caliber pistol, and $2475 in cash.
Sheriff Jimmy Harris says "this investigation was the result of several citizens complaints and undercover agents following up on leads. This individual appears to be one of the major dealers in marijuana in DeKalb County. We are glad to get him off the street."
Pantoja-Villanuyeva is in the DeKalb County Detention Center in Fort Payne.
