VINA, AL (WAFF) -
A Franklin County educator accused of having sex with a former student will go to trial February 4.
Kimberly Bynum, of Russellville, is charged with being a school employee engaged in sex with a student under the age of 19.
Bynum taught math at Vina High School in Franklin County.
Investigators say the former student admitted the affair.
Bynum was set to go to trial in December.
