NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -
The reward for Jimmy Ray McMillan, a registered sex offender and former carnival worker, has been increased to $13,000. McMillan was convicted for sexually assaulting a nine-year-old female in 1988. He was arrested in 1990 and paroled in 1994.
In 2011, McMillan made arrangements to move from Ft. Worth to Nacogdoches but never made the move.
On March 28, 2012, the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office reported that McMillan had absconded and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He is charged with Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration.
McMillan is the Texas Department of Public Safety's Featured Sex Offender. DPS is offering a reward of $13,000 for tips received on McMillan during the month of December.
