DEACTUR, AL (WAFF) -
A woman in Decatur faces charges for manufacturing meth.
On November 28, officers responded to 225 Mark St. in reference to serve a felony warrant.
Officers smelled a strong chemical smell associated with a meth lab coming from the back shed of the home. Officers spotted 38-year-old Amanda Peebles walk out to the shed. Officers found an active gas generator and other materials and chemicals associated in the manufacture of meth in the shed.
Peebles was charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia.
Peebles was booked in the Morgan County Jail on a $2,500 bond.
