HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Emergency crews responded to an early morning
fire on Runningmeade Trail Saturday.
Officials said the fire started just before 3
a.m. and when they arrived, flames were visible in the front room.
The fire gutted most of the home and it also
sustained heavy smoke damage.
Nobody was injured.
Red Cross was called to the scene to assist
the residents.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
