HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A former football coach is suing a local high school.
Court documents show Collins Hess filed a lawsuit against Pope John Paul II Catholic High School in Huntsville.
The documents were filed on Friday.
Hess claims defamatory statements were made against him, including that he misappropriated and stole money. He also claims other false statements were made about him.
Hess is seeking punitive and compensatory damages.
