RAINSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Rainsville Police are searching for a man reportedly using
fake checks at businesses in the area.
Officials said the man used counterfeit checks at two
businesses in Rainsville.
The businesses described the man as possibly Hispanic with
dark hair in his mid 30s. He is described as medium build, about 170 pounds and
approximately 5'7."
The checks used are from Regions; however, the name on the
checks reads "Region's bank," the check paper is irregular, the ID does not
match the address and the routing and account numbers are invalid.
The man was last seen driving a medium/dark Ford Mustang
with an Etowah County plate.

Rainsville Police.
