U.S. Marshals arrested a man wanted in connection with a violent home invasion.
Demarcus Antone Travis was arrested Thursday night and delivered to the Metro Jail.
Police said Travis was involved in a September 9 home invasion that took place on Wall Triana near Liberty Drive. A woman and her four-year-old son were violently attacked and robbed.
Warrants were issued for his arrest November 6.
Travis is the third suspect arrested in relation to the case. Nicholas White and Brandon Grays were also arrested.
Travis was charged with attempted murder, assault, robbery, theft and burglary. He remains in the Madison County Jail with no bond.
Travis was developed as a suspect late into the investigation, and police said further charges may follow.
