MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Morgan County deputies arrested three people Thursday on drug charges during a traffic stop.
Deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 36 near Lacey Springs for a traffic violation.
When authorities approached the car, they said the occupants were very nervous and unsure of where they were going.
Deputies brought out K-9 units to search the vehicle. They found methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Deputies arrested Lauren Duenas and Paul Redifer and charged them with possession of a controlled substance.
Tony Duenas was also arrested and charged with possession of marijuana second degree.
