ALBERTVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Albertville Police have said that an alert for a police impersonator was a
misunderstanding and there is no danger to the community.
Officials released an alert Thursday morning of an individual driving a
black and silver 2003 Chevy pickup impersonating an officer; however, police
said the alert was a misunderstanding.
Police said the individual bought an older model truck with strobe lights
and was showing them to friends in a church parking lot. An alarmed citizen saw
and called police.
