My Take - Canathon

On December 6th WAFF will mark the twentieth anniversary of Canathon. For those who don't know, Canathon is our annual effort to help curb hunger in our area. Every year we are blown away by the generosity of our neighbors. This year the need is as great as ever and we are hopeful that you will make it more successful than ever. You can find drop off locations for your canned goods on our web site waff.com and while no donation is too small, no donation is too big either. How many cans of food do you have sitting in your pantry right now that have been sitting there for months? You may not see your situation as one of abundance, but trust me, when you hear the stories of those in need, you quickly realize how blessed you really are. I ask everyone listening to commit to donating at least 6 canned goods. We have collected literally hundreds of thousands of cans over the years, this year, with your help, we can set a new record for giving.

I'm WAFF 48 General Manager Vanessa Oubre and that's My Take what's yours?
