LAUDERDALE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Two brothers caught in Tallahassee, Florida are expected to return to Lauderdale County this week.

Shannon Brewer is accused of killing Mark Dishon. Shannon's brother, Jerry Brewer, is accused of helping him leave the state.

Dishon's family is ready for the men to face their crimes. They said they are taking it one day at a time.

Thanksgiving was extremely tough for them, but they're thankful for the memories they have of Mark.

Deputies found 49-year-old Dishon stabbed to death inside his home on County Road 638.

Scott Dishon describes his brother as a homebody.

Thomas Dishon said knowing the man accused of killing his brother makes the situation even more difficult.

The men say both families have a lot to deal with in the coming months and that only time can heal their heavy hearts.

The family is planning a private service in Florida with the rest of their family.

Showers and storms will be ongoing across the Valley this evening. The most widespread rain will be over northeastern AL, but additional scattered storms will track into the Shoals from the west. That round of stormy weather will head east with time and should be out of the Valley after midnight. The threat for severe storms is low, but a few strong storms are possible.
