HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A capital murder suspect in Huntsville pleaded guilty to a lesser charge just as his trial was about to get underway on Monday.
Donald Lewis Jr. pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
He was previously charged with capital murder for Tavaris Love's shooting death in 2011.
The shooting happened at a stoplight on Mastin Lake Road.
Lewis was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
