CASS COUNTY, TX (KSLA) -
East Texas authorities confirm the deaths of two people
found inside a Cass County home is now considered a double homicide case.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office says when 47-year-old Doyle Pollard didn't show up for
work on Monday, co-workers went to his home on County Road 4683 just outside of Atlanta to check on him.
Inside they found Pollard and 42-year-old Dyrika Jones.
Deputies say the bodies may have been inside the home since Sunday morning.
Texas Rangers were called to the scene to work on the investigation. The sheriff's office says a few people of interest are being interviewed, but no one has been arrested.
