LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Investigators with the Limestone County Sheriff's Office arrested a suspect in the Hatchett Cemetery vandalism.
Investigators said 22-year-old Robert Allen Muse, of Falkville, was captured on film vandalizing Hatchett Cemetery Friday night around 8:30 p.m.
Muse was charged with first degree criminal mischief, a class C felony, punishable up to 10 years in prison. He was charged with two additional counts of first degree criminal mischief Tuesday.
Muse was arrested at his father's home in Falkville after his dad took him to get a haircut.
A deputy recognized Muse from the surveillance photo as someone he stopped near the cemetery Thursday night. The officer had completed a field interrogation card containing Muse's name and address.
Hatchett Cemetery has been vandalized three times.
