Thanksgiving - a time for food, football, family... and apparently, Instagram..
It's been a running joke that Instagram users take too many photos of food on a normal day, so it should come as no surprise that there was a new record set on Thanksgiving.
The company announced that 10 million photos were uploaded on November 22nd with Thanksgiving related keywords. The peak came around 5pm Eastern.. when hipsters across the U.S. uploaded 226 pictures per second.
Last week, Instagram announced it's launching an improved desktop site.. so you won't need your phone to see your friend's pictures any longer.
