HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Police are looking for three men who robbed a family at gunpoint on Lucretia Avenue.

Mattie Smith said someone had rang her doorbell around 7 a.m. Friday morning.  Her husband went to the door, but didn't see anyone.  Shortly after, he went to work.  The intruders forced themselves in.  Smith said she never heard them get inside.

"I was ironing my daughter's shirt and I saw something red go by my door and I looked up and there was a man standing there in my bedroom door," she said.

Smith told police one of the men led her daughter at gunpoint into her bedroom.

"He told me not to look at him and to get on the floor," Smith said.  "He said this is a robbery and he stuck his gun in my face and I said take whatever you want and just don't hurt us."

The robber demanded to know where Smith kept her safe.  She said she doesn't own a safe, but told the men to take the little money she had on her.

The men stole a wallet, a cell phone, and 10 guns. They also took the keys to four vehicles.

The victims were not injured. The investigation is ongoing.
