There was laughing, plenty of food, and even some dancing as hundreds of people went to the Salvation Army in Shreveport for a full Thanksgiving meal.
Even more people in need were served in the community.
The Salvation Army says they served about 1,200 meals to people in the community Thursday with the food they sent out with their mobile units.
Several volunteers spent their holiday helping the area's homeless enjoy a warm meal. Many of the food items being served are thanks to your generous donations to shelters like the Salvation Army.

Salvation Army 200 E. Stoner Ave. Shreveport 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Second Mt. Zion Baptist Church 473 E. 69th St. Shreveport 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Shared Harvest Community Kitchen 2125 Airline Dr. Bossier City 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Randy Sam's Outreach Center 402 Oak St. Texarkana, TX 11:00 a.m.
