HARVEST, AL (WAFF) - 'Tis the season for giving, but don't tell that to some Grinches out there who would rather receive than give.
One example took place in Harvest where a home was burglarized.
One person was kind enough to give us a clear look at her using a stolen check from there.
The woman is seen on surveillance video at the Redstone Federal Credit Union on North Parkway trying to cash a stolen check.
According to law enforcement, the stolen check came from Ronald Wilson's home on Thunderbird Drive in Harvest.
On November 5th, a burglar or burglars broke in through a back window and stole eight handguns, some gold jewelry, and some savings bonds.
Wilson said this has clearly left him shaken.
"It really scares you into thinking you're not supposed to walk inside your house without having some type of weapon," he said.
But the woman seen on surveillance video trying to cash one of Wilson's stolen checks is the one who should really be scared right now.
Her face was captured so clearly, this could be a real money shot for you. It could put some quick cash into your pocket, as in up to a thousand dollars in reward money.
