BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
A man was seriously wounded in a shooting in Baton Rouge late Tuesday night.
The Baton Rouge Police Department said officers were called out to the 2900 block of Byron Avenue due to reported shots fired around 11:15 p.m.
Responding officers reported finding a man lying on the ground near the front door of a home on the street.
They said he had been shot multiple times in the lower part of his body.
EMS rushed him to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
