AUBURN, AL (WAFF) -
Auburn Police are asking the public for help identifying two people of interest in the Toomer's Corner oak trees fire.
Police released video and a still photo of the men in hopes of identifying them.
Toilet paper draped over the trees after Auburn's win against Alabama A&M Saturday was lit on fire around 3 a.m. Sunday.
Both subjects were wearing dark colored pants and light colored shirts in the video. The men can be seen crossing the street and approaching Toomer's Corner before the trees caught fire.
Anyone with information about the fire or the identity of the people in the video should call the Auburn Police Division at 334-501-3140 anonymously, or text the tip line at 334-246-1391.
