Ronnie Gilley, the Country Crossing Developer at the center of Gambling Corruption Trial, has reported to federal prison in Atlanta.
The Associated Press reports Gilley reported to the federal penitentiary in Atlanta today to begin serving his sentence of six years and eight months for attempting to bribe legislators to pass pro-bingo legislation.
Gilley was originally scheduled to report to prison on August 27 however U.S. District Judge Myron Thomspon granted Gilley several delays due to an undisclosed personal surgery and recovery time.
