Authorities identify victims killed in fiery crash

Two cars crashed at the intersection of Mulberry Road and Hunter Road in Hazel Green just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

One of the cars, with four people inside, caught fire after the two cars hit head-on. Three men from Tennessee died at the scene, and one escaped. Jonah Isaac Bradley, 19, of Belvidere; Timothy Chad Swafford, 21, of Elora; and Jeffery Allen Stewart, 24, of Belvidere, were all killed in the accident.

The survivor, Waylon Terpay, was taken to Huntsville Hospital. He was released Tuesday.

One woman in the second car was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Emergency crew closed the roads overnight until 4 a.m. Monday.

State troopers are investigating the wreck. They said it's unclear which car crossed the center line.

Authorities said they are using dental records to positively identify the victims. We will bring you updates as they become available.
