DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

One person was injured and another arrested after a stabbing in Decatur.

Police responded to a fight call in the 400 block of 3rd Avenue Friday evening.

When they arrived on the scene, they observed Kenneth "Lance" Kasey Cobble fleeing the scene.

A short foot chase led to Cobble locking himself in his apartment. After he refused to open the door and comply with officers, police forced entry into the residence and took him into custody.

Cobble was charged with public intoxication, second degree assault and resisting arrest.

The victim's injuries were minor, and he refused medical treatment.
