EUNICE, LA (WAFB) -
A Eunice man was arrested Thursday afternoon after he allegedly threw a cup of soda at a DOTD truck.
Police say Lucas Kelly, 25, was passing the worker's truck in an SUV when he heaved the carbonated beverage, hitting the driver and side door of the truck, soaking both.
The worker notified police and gave them a description of the brown Ford SUV pulling a trailer. Acadia Parish Sheriff's deputies found the vehicle and escorted it to the Eunice Police Dept.
Kelly was arrested and charged with simple battery, criminal mischief and littering. He is out on bond.
