A judge found a Lauderdale County man guilty of assault after the man attacked an employee at his child's school.
Edward Jenkins of Killen was convicted of second degree assault.
Jenkins attacked a coach at Rogers High School in March for yelling at his 8-year-old son.
Jenkins
said he was upset because the coach, Chris Krieger, was talking
inappropriately to his son. He said the coach made a threatening move
and he was just defending himself.
Krieger sustained minor injuries.
Jenkins will be sentenced on December 20.
