Gordon Jones was 28 when he lost his life aboard the Deepwater Horizon. "I think of Gordon all day every day," said his father Keith Jones.

Jones remembers that day back in 2010 and every day since. In fact, he sees Gordon every time he lays eyes on his grandsons. "Fun to see his boys, fun to see his boy Max who Gordon never got to see who looks just like his Dad," added Jones.

Gordon's memory however lives on, held close by his family and those who prosecuted BP for the worst environmental disaster in U.S. history.

"To seek justice on behalf of the victims and to enable gulf residents to continue to recover and rebuild," said Attorney General Eric Holder.

Holder and countless agencies received a guilty plea from BP on all 14 charges the company faced, relating to the spill and Jones says that effort and commitment was not lost on the families of the victims.

"That speaks a lot to the work they put in that we didn't know was going on, that they were making certain that BP didn't have a choice but to plead guilty and admit that it was responsible for the deaths of these 11 men," said Jones.

Jones also adds that he is happy the fines and penalties BP will pay as part of the settlement will go towards the restoration of the Gulf's coastline and those affected by the disaster. As for when and if he will ever be at peace with Gordon's death, Jones adds that's not up to him.

"You grieve as God allows you to grieve I think and resolve it within yourself in God's time,"
